Dr. Nigam obtained his basic medical degree in 1979 from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur University, India and his MD in Internal medicine from the same institution in 1983.
He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians
He has been working for about 30 years in UAE. He is a trained Diabetologist and has a vast experience in this specialty.
For many years he has been instrumental in the coordination high-level Medical Conferences.
He has been guest speaker and chairperson in several conferences in U.A.E. His main areas of interest are Diabetes, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia and peripheral vascular disease.
He was invited as a judge for Poster Presentation at the 2019 annual scientific meeting of ACP at Philadelphia.
He has attended several international conferences in Europe and U.S.A.
He is also a member of Scientific CME committees of RAK Hospital and Ras Al Khaimah Medical & Health Sciences University.
He is a visiting Professor of Medicine, GSVM Medical College Kanpur, India.
